WINTER TRACKING DAY - 11/12/22

A great day had by all, at Pendeford Mill Nature Reserve, on our winter tracking day. The group were lucky to have a fresh carpet of snow, before the event started, meaning we had a whole host of tracks and signs to find. LARGE MAMMAL TRACKING DAY - 2018

Tracker Al led the group on a guided wildlife tracking mission, to find and record wild boar tracks and signs. The group learnt how to differentiate between deer and boar tracks, as well as having the delight of observing fallow deer in the wild.

ANIMAL TRACKING MORNING - 2019

This event was in conjunction with the B&BC Mammal Society. The weather was hot, the animals had come out to play and plenty of tracks and signs were found. Tracker Al informed the group of how to identify badger tracks, having found a semi-fresh trail through some damp mud. The group also found muntjac tracks, rabbit droppings, red fox tracks and otter spraint!
